Hello everyone,
On March 19th, 2023, a group of 13 individuals from DWC (Deerwalk Compware) embarked on a day trek to Bhundole Chaur, Pharping. We gathered at Deerwalk Complex around 8:00 a.m. and departed on the bus at 8:15 a.m. It took us approximately 90 minutes to reach our starting point at Pharping Bazar. However, we were unable to find a good breakfast spot, so we went near the Dakshinkali Temple to have breakfast.
After breakfast at a local restaurant near the dakhinakali temple at around 10:25 a.m., we were excited to begin our journey, especially since none of us had previously traversed the trail. To avoid getting lost, we created a comprehensive map of our route and stocked up with some fruits and water bottles. The path was adorned with natural wonders, and there was even a tranquil monastery in route. We ambled slowly, reveling in the peaceful surroundings and delightful weather, capturing photographs of these moments. Although the road was in poor shape and we had shaky legs, we continued to enjoy the walk, listening to the birds chirping.
Bhundole Chaur is a forested area that resembles a beautiful green carpet. It’s a popular spot for picnics and spending quality time with loved ones, and Champa Devi Hike is conveniently located nearby. We had a great time during the hike, and we even participated in running races and other fun activities. We also captured many enjoyable moments on videos.
Once we had taken some photos and made some beautiful videos, we left for the main highway where our bus was parked. During our return journey, we enjoyed the taste of the locally grown sugarcane. As we were passing by Shree Setidevi Secondary School, Pharping Hydro Elitricity Rd, Dakshinkali 44600), we noticed a nearby monastery and decided to explore it. Initially, we thought it was a gumba, but as we got closer, we realized that it was actually a Buddhist School, Nyingma Palyul Urgen Dorjee Chholing Institute Rd, Dakshinkali.
Around 2:30 p.m., we arrived at our bus feeling slightly tired and hungry. We decided to have a meal at the RR Taudaha Viewpoint Restaurant, Kirtipur, and then we had a great time dancing and enjoying ourselves. After relishing the delicious meal and resting for an hour, we headed back the way we came. Finally, after a wonderful and enjoyable day of hiking, we reached the Deerwalk Complex at 5:30 p.m.
Thank you.
