Hello everyone,
The hiking club scheduled a one-day hike to Lauke Jharana on March 12th, 2023. We arrived at the Deerwalk complex around 7:10 a.m. We boarded the bus from Deerwalkat 7:30 AM after introducing ourselves. We arrived at Kakani for breakfast at 9:20 AM. After breakfast, we started walking at around 10 AM as Kakani was our starting point for the hike.
The hike began after filling up our bellies. After walking for about 1 hour, our group was separated into two as some of the participants were too tired to walk on the rough terrain. Along the way of the hike, we captured the beautiful nature with our cameras and rested for a while. We saw some small waterfalls along the way. After getting some rest, we started walking again as our hike was 16km in total up and down. During the walk, we had some juice and food provided by our coordinators. We reached our destination at 1:30 PM and waited for the other group. Everyone gathered at the waterfall at around 2 PM. Everyone enjoyed the cool breeze around the waterfall and the cold running water. It was really relaxing to dip our feet in the water after the long walk. We started our journey back after sightseeing, taking photographs, and feeling rejuvenated. One of the parties was a little fatigued and walked quite slowly as the road back to our bus was hilly. The walk back felt very long as we all were already exhausted. We reached our college bus at 6:15 PM. As we were in Kakani, trying rainbow trout was a must. We went to a local place for food. We enjoyed the delicious food and got back on the bus. And finally, we reached the college premises at 9:30 PM and that ended our hike.
Thank you.
