We were scheduled to meet at school at 6:30 AM, but we arrived a bit late at around 7:00 AM. Once everyone had gathered, we boarded the bus and began our journey. We received a packaged breakfast to eat during the bus ride. The ride lasted approximately six hours, during which we enjoyed the scenic views, chatted with friends, and made the most of the long trip. Finally, we arrived in Gorkha, a place rich in history and culture.

Upon reaching Gorkha, we participated in several ice-breaking activities. These activities were designed to help us get comfortable with each other, improve teamwork, and make the trip more enjoyable. After spending some time engaging in these fun and interactive exercises, we headed to our hotel. We had dinner in the hotel and sat outside for a campfire for some time. We played some music and our friends and teachers danced to it. Tired from the long journey, we headed back to the hotel at 9:00 PM and slept, excited for the next day’s adventure.

The following morning, we woke up early and set off to explore Gorkha Durbar, a historic palace known for its architectural beauty and significance in Nepalese history. Walking through the durbar, we learned about its historical importance and the role it played in shaping Nepal’s past.

Afterward, we visited the Gorkha Museum, which displayed various artifacts, weapons, and historical relics. The visit gave us deeper insight into Nepal’s heritage and the bravery of the Gurkha soldiers.

Later that day, we continued our journey to Nuwa Kot. The bus ride to Nuwa Kot took around  five hours, giving us plenty of time to rest, admire the countryside, and share experiences from our visit to Gorkha. Upon reaching Nuwa Kot, we had a delicious meal before checking into our hotel. After a long and eventful day, we got some much-needed rest.

The next morning, we woke up early to watch the sunrise from a view tower. The breathtaking view of the golden sun rising over the hills was one of the highlights of our trip. After enjoying the serene morning atmosphere, we proceeded to visit Nuwakot Durbar and a nearby temple. Unfortunately, both the durbar and the temple were under construction, so we could not explore them fully. However, we still learned about their historical importance and admired their architectural beauty from the outside.

After completing our visit, we boarded the bus and began our journey back home. The return trip was filled with reflections on the experiences we had gained, discussions about our favorite moments, and excitement about sharing our stories with friends and family. The trip was not only educational but also a memorable adventure filled with fun, learning, and new friendships.

The trek started on 17th January. At about 06:00 in the morning, I reached school, met all my

friends, and talked about what we were going to do and so much more. After that, we all lined up on the futsal ground and the bus arrived and we all went inside, there were 2 buses, 20 students on our bus and 19 students on another one. We all were provided with breakfast which we enjoyed during the journey.

The fun started as soon as we entered the bus. We started eating, laughing, clicking pictures from the camera, etc. Everyone was quiet for 1-2 hours and they started playing songs. The first few songs were quite boring, so we asked our teacher to play songs that we wanted to hear. Then we all started dancing and didn’t stop for 3-4 hours. We had our lunch at Hamlet Restaurant. The lunch was satisfactory after hours of dancing. After lunch, we clicked a few group photos and went back to the bus again. We rested for 1 hour and started dancing again. We danced for 4-5 hours continuously until we reached Gorkha. We planned to visit the Gorkha Museum on the same day but it was quite late. The museum closed at 04:00 and we reached Gorkha around 04:30. So, we went straight to our hotel. After we reached our hotel, we went to the rooms that were allocated to us. We changed and freshened up ourselves. We did some ice-breaking activities that helped us know ourselves and our friends better and started a campfire. We sang and danced at the campfire too. We had our dinner and danced again. Many of our friends and teachers dancing and singing made it more fun. All of us were sent to the rooms by 10:00. After we went to our rooms we changed and played uno. Including me, there were 8 of us but had to separate into 2 groups. 5 of us including me were in 1 room and the other 3 were in another room with 3 of our good friends. We had some snacks and talked, then we slept.

The next morning, we all were awake around 05:00 AM. We got dressed up and went upstairs to the terrace of our hotel to watch the sunrise. It was very soothing as the sun’s rays on the mountains made it look very beautiful. We stayed there for some time, talked about the mountains, took some pictures, and went back downstairs. Afterwards, we went to visit Gorkha Durbar. The Gorkha Durbar was within walking distance from our hotel. We started the hike around 06:30 and reached the durbar at around 07:00. We learned about many things like khukuri, gajur, the past, and many more. We came back to our hotel at 07:45 and had our breakfast, we then sat and enjoyed the view for some time and went to the museum, we learned

about many things like different cultures, costumes, occupations, etc. We clicked a group photo

and moved to Nuwakot.

On the bus we all slept for a few hours and started dancing once again. We reached our homestay at 4 pm. 8 of us were separated into two groups of 4 for bedtime only. We all were together until bedtime. We danced, had dinner, played uno, watched a beautiful sunset, and had a small gossip session too. 8 of us separated around 10:30 then 3 of my friends including me gossiped a lot and slept around 11:30-12:00. We got to listen to free concerts of 2 dogs while we were sleeping which was fun too. We didn’t even know when we all fell asleep. Then the next morning we woke up at 05:00 and went to watch the sunrise from the viewpoint. It was the best sunrise I have ever witnessed. We walked for 1 hour to reach the viewpoint. Then we went back to our homestay and had our breakfast. We had our free time after breakfast until lunch. I sat in the sun feeling the air and the view too. After we had our lunch and started working on a project that was given to us. Our guide separated groups and gave a piece of white cloth, colors, paintbrushes, and water. They asked us to paint what we saw during the whole trip and we tried to do our best to make the result look good. We made lots of mistakes but the result was good. Then after that, we moved towards Kathmandu. We were not at all excited to separate and give a full stop to the trip but we had to.

The trip was full of memories, fun things, laughter, food, views, mountains, songs, and lots of

dances. We saw mountains like Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Machapuchare, Annapurna 1 and 4,

Dhaulagiri and many more. We saw different types of people, different cultures from

different places, etc. We all are excited about next year for another trip.
