The admin hike to Jamacho, Nagarjun, was held on August 29. It has been a great honor for me to be a part of the hike. It was a rainy day, so keeping things on track was a challenge. We left the college grounds around 8:00 a.m. and arrived at Machhapokhari at 8:20 a.m., where we had breakfast. At 8:45 a.m, We arrived at the Gumba's Phoolbari entry gate. The hike covered a total distance of 4.3 kilometers. Our hike began promptly at 9:00 a.m. It was raining and the road was slick, making the hike much more exciting and adventurous. We talked about different topics; education and the stock market on the walk there. It was enjoyable until we were bitten by leeches while bushwalking in the rain. We took a breath after a few hours of walking and enjoyed the spectacular view of Kathmandu Valley with Cucumber. We captured the breathtaking beauty on film and in photos. Following the break, we kept walking towards our destination, arriving at around 1:00 p.m. The weather was misty because it had been raining earlier, so the lovely view from the summit was obscured. At roughly 2:00 PM, we took photos, relaxed for a little, and then began our journey back to the Deerwalk Complex. The trip back was easy for about 3 kilometers because it was steep and easy. The last 1 kilometer was a little more challenging because there were some slippery stairs downhill, which took us a little longer to return. At 4:00 p.m., we arrived at the Phoolbari gate. We then returned to the Deerwalk Complex. We had a fantastic supper at Samakhusi on our way back to the college, and after dinner, we arrived at the Deerwalk Complex around 6:00 PM.

The hike was exciting and enjoyable. Hiking with the team was a great experience.
