On 19th December 2025, our school took us for a hike to Kahun Dada, a beautiful hill within Pokhara Valley. The school van left us midway and we started walking from there. I walked about 5 kilometers and saw many beautiful things on the way. I saw two temples and colourful flowers. I also saw tall trees, chirping birds, and small farms along the way. From there, I could see the wide Pokhara Valley.
At the top, we rested and ate a snack. I also saw a traditional swing, a thick forest below and white mountains to the north. I also saw the Lalupate flower and a flock of eagles flying high. I played a traditional Nepali game called Bhote Kukur with my friends and enjoyed it a lot.
The hike was a little tiring but it was very fun. We returned with our teachers at around 1:30 pm, carrying beautiful memories of Kahun Dada. This place is located at a high altitude so the way down is steep. The fresh air, green trees, and all the things we saw made the hike very exciting and enjoyable.
