The day began early as students gathered at the Deerwalk Complex at 7:30 AM, full of energy and anticipation. With water bottles packed, shoes tightened, and excitement in the air, participants eagerly prepared for the adventure ahead. By 7:45 AM, everyone boarded the buses, and the journey began with chatter, laughter, and the joy of stepping away from the week’s usual pace. At 9:15 AM, the group took a short and refreshing breakfast break that boosted everyone’s energy. After some quick snaps and stretching, the journey continued smoothly toward Lakure Bhanjyang. By 10:50 AM, the team finally reached the starting point of the hike—a peaceful hilltop destination known for its fresh air and scenic beauty. The hike began with cheerful spirits as the group moved along the trail surrounded by stunning landscapes, chilly winds, and the calmness of nature. The route offered breathtaking views of valleys, terraced fields, and distant hills, creating the perfect environment for meaningful conversations, jokes, and shared moments. Along the way, participants also played their part in environmental responsibility by cleaning the trail and maintaining the camping area—adding purpose and pride to the journey. By 1:30 PM, the team reached the iconic view towers, one of the highlights of the hike. Standing there, overlooking the vast panorama, everyone took a moment to breathe in the beauty around them. Soon after, at 1:50 PM, lunch was served, giving everyone the chance to rest, share stories, and enjoy a relaxing break before the return. At 2:30 PM, the group boarded the buses for the return trip to Kathmandu. Although a traffic jam slowed the journey, the cheerful atmosphere inside the bus remained unchanged. Conversations flowed, jokes continued, and the overall vibe stayed lively. At 4:30 PM, everyone enjoyed a delicious Thakali meal at Naxal, which brought back everyone’s energy for the final stretch. By 5:00 PM, the buses headed back toward Deerwalk College, and at 5:15 PM, the group safely arrived back on campus—tired but fulfilled. The hike to Lakure Bhanjyang was not just a walk through nature. It was a celebration of teamwork, discipline, and the simple joys of being together outside the classroom. With excellent coordination, responsible participation, and a shared sense of purpose, the day concluded as a truly refreshing and unforgettable experience.
