Pawan SharmaPawan Sharma Aloha everyone, While the past few months or so were quite eventful, stressful and busy for us, we did manage to have some fun as well. In fact, the best and most peaceful times seemed to be while we were out enjoying our great outdoors. Most of us were wearing a sweatshirt, jeans, and brown shoes. Maybe it’s appropriate, though. It’s like we wouldn’t dress up as pirates on Halloween because that is who we are all the rest of the year. On Sunday, The hike started from the Deerwalk premises including me Awanish and Balkrishna. Along the way we picked up rest of the participants. We drove past Thankot and on the way we had an unusual, yet remarkable breakfast of mutton and beaten rice along with a cup of tea at Banepali restaurant at Naubise. We drove towards Palung and everyone seemed to be enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. Finally we went on to the starting point of our hike. The hike was quite difficult for us. Then we reached Daman. There we took some pictures of the scenery that allowed and of our group. After went for a meal. After meal we headed back to Kathmandu. Soon we were entering to the most populated city and the heavy traffic. It was good fun while it lasted but it was time to return to the daily routine back in the valley. I'll leave with this final thought: Palung/Daman is probably the most suitable place close to Kathmandu. The deeper you dig the more it offers you. We enjoyed sharing the beauty of this place. All in all, a great time and a good opportunity to get to know my colleagues better. Thanks for a great time.
