Packed the sunglasses and yes, don’t forget the cap, all thrilled +2 level Deerwalkers were gathered to attend the 1-night hiking and outing to Chitlang. All the students and teachers assembled in the Deerwalk complex. The bus left the Deerwalk compound at about 10:30 sharp. We headed towards Kulekhani. We reached the Kulekhani Dam at about 1:30 and we were allowed to visit around the place. As source of entertainment there were boats for boating where we all did boating and spent some memorable time together, clicking the pictures in the best poses we could give. The boating in Kulekhani was quite fun and every one enjoyed to their fullest.

At around 2:30 we started our hiking towards Chitlang. First everyone was excited and enthusiast all started to hike pretty well and continued the journey. As the day was coming to an end, nearly at 4:30 we reached our destination. We reached Chitlang’s resort “Organic Resort”.

We spent a night in the breezing cold with some campfire under the sky full of twinkling stars and some mind-blowing dance moves shown by everyone. The night then ended with everyone sleeping peacefully under their tents. The early next morning we hiked to the cheese factory of Chitlang, which is also the first cheese factory of the country and we also went to see the fish pond where there were a whole lot of trout.

Now we had to hike up to Chandragiri so we started to hike at around 9:15 am. In the middle of the jungle laughing and having fun we did not know how the sloppy, steep, and high mountains were crossed. About 2 to 3hrs of hike, watching the beautiful bird and plants and the small houses on the sloppy hills led us to that day’s destination, Chandragiri.

Sense of happiness and relaxation was in everyone’s mind as we reached our point safely. We visited the temple and clicked some photos. All tired and impatient to go home climbed the cable car of Chandragiri. Seeing the closest view of Kathmandu. Watching the whole Kathmandu from such height was so mesmerizing. Then we landed and had some stomach full of lunch. All enthusiast Deerwalkians were tired and were eager to go home and upload their beautiful photos.

All the things were managed and our trip to Chitlang was a successful one. All excited and eagerly waiting for another such kind of trip.

As we were about to spend that night there we were excited and somewhat little scared. The night then ended with everyone sleeping peacefully under their tents. The early next morning we went to see the goat cheese factory of Chitlang, which is also the first cheese factory of the country and we also went to see the fish pond where there were whole lot of trout fish.

Now we had to hike up to Chandragiri which was our final destination point so we started to hike at around 9:15 am. Everyone was chanting and talking about their views about Chitlang which made the jungle and the hills were crossing easily. About 2 to 3hrs of hike with some beautiful pictures of the scenario, and of course, of ourselves as well and relaxing our mind by the scenario and beautiful plants, birds we could see, enjoying with our buddies we reached Chandragiri.
