Sanil Shrestha This was my first hiking from Deerwalk Inc. and I was very excited. As I was the co-ordinator of the hike, I had so many things on my mind and I was so nervous. It was 8:00 am when we departed for a hike. We first visited Suryabinayak Ganesh Mandir and had a yummy breakfast and started our hike from there. On our way, I was buying some snacks for us when we suddenly realized that we had taken the wrong route! We asked the locals around and took a detour so we could take the right route. Our hike was full of adventure, fun and photographs. We walked through the step forest which was quite tiresome.
Despite the day being sunny, the shades of forest kept us cool and calm. The greenery and peaceful ambience of the forest simply took our breaths away!
Despite the day being sunny, the shades of forest kept us cool and calm. The greenery and peaceful ambience of the forest simply took our breaths away! I, personally felt so stress-free and relaxed. After walking for around 2 hours, we finally reached the top of the hill where Pilot Baba Ashram stands. The view was so mesmerizing. The surrounding was so pure, fresh and clean with a cool breeze flowing by. All of us were so happy. Then we re-energized ourselves with some refreshing drinks. We stayed there for about an hour. Then, using a different route we walked back to where we began. On our way, we came across army training camp. There was a huge field with a crashed plane model. After walking for 2 hours, we reached back to the place where we started. All of us were starving and really exhausted. So we started looking for a good place to devour a great deal of food! We came across a bus park around Bhaktapur Durbar Square where our eyes met the King of curds - Juju Dhau! After having some real tasty juju dhau, we went to Sinamangal airport area for lunch. We had DeliciousThakalikhana took some Rest and then parted our ways from Office premises.
