Accordingly, we reached Godawari at about 8:15 AM. We all were excited to explore the beauty of nature accompanied by the energetic and encouraging colleague. We took a group photo and with full courage and enthusiasm, we followed the uphill trails into the forest.
It was difficult steep uphill at first, but the cool environment and the relief from the hot weather of Kathmandu proved to be a relaxation for the body. Though we felt a type of tiredness, the excitement and the company had overshadowed the fatigue.
With very short breaks on the midway and some struggles in the rain, we reached the top at about 1:00 PM. The weather was cold and full of fog. We captured some beautiful views from the top of Fulchoki hill and the Fulchoki temple which is at the altitude of 2700 m.
We rested for an hour, had some snacks, engaged ourselves in discussions and shared ideas.
We then started the journey downhills at about 2:00 PM. We were all a bit tired but not exhausted as we all had carried beautiful moments, togetherness and most importantly, the team spirit. We reached the base of Fulchoki where our vehicle was waiting for us at 4:00 pm. It was a different pleasure to be seated and take a rest in the vehicle. It took an hour to reach 109, back for our lunch.
We discussed the journey, had some refreshing drinks and lunch. We then departed with the hope that these types of togetherness and the joyful events will come more in days to come.
