Greetings Everyone,

The crisp morning of December 14th, 2024, began with anticipation and excitement as 28 participants joined up for the cycling event conducted by DWIT Hiking Club & DWIT Sports Club gathered at the campus. The air was filled with nervous energy and enthusiasm as students and admin prepared for a day of cycling that would test their limits.

As the clock struck 7:50 AM, the group boarded a bus to Panc Bikes in Jamal, their destination buzzing with the promise of adventure. Bicycles were collected, spirits were high, and the morning started with a warm cup of tea and some crunchy biscuits. We carefully divided the participants into five groups, ensuring that cyclists of similar capabilities would ride together, creating a sense of camaraderie and safety.

The journey began from DWIT, with the wheels spinning and the wind against Our faces. Our first regroup was near HAMS Hospital, where excited chatter and quick water breaks refreshed the cyclists. The route wound through Madikatar Heights, offering breathtaking views and moments of collective wonder. Budanilkantha welcomed us next, and a quick orange break provided much-needed energy for the continuing journey.

However, fate had different plans for this cycling expedition. About 17 kilometers into our adventure, near Tokha, an unexpected incident occurred. One of the participants took a fall, bringing the group's momentum to a sudden halt. Immediately, the participants demonstrated true team spirit. The group split strategically - a larger contingent carefully returning to campus while a smaller, dedicated team ensured the injured participant received proper care and attention.

The spirit of the day was not dampened by this unexpected turn of events. Instead, it showcased the group's resilience, teamwork, and genuine care for one another. By the time we returned to campus, we had collectively cycled approximately 32 kilometers.

The day concluded with a well-deserved lunch at Lete Thakali, where tired but happy cyclists shared stories, laughed about the day's adventures, and celebrated their collective achievement. Though We did not reach our original destination of Jhor, We had discovered something far more valuable - the strength of our community and the joy of pushing beyond our comfort zones.

The Event orchestrated more than just a cycling event; We had created an experience of bonding, challenge, and mutual support - a memory that would be cherished by participants for years to come.
