Description:
Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire’s base are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu and hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979.
This is Very helpful advice in this particular article! It’s the little changes that make the greatest changes. Thanks a lot for sharing! http://bit.ly/2IFnHgJ
Dear Anuma,
No Doubt your picture & the Dark Blue Background is superb. I would have taken that picture with your same vision tilting the camera in left & down a bit.
It is really looking Undressedhagi???
Yeah .. I too was amazed .. these days we dnt find any religious flag over there ..dnt knw why !!
Unique and Unconventional view of Swayambhunath Stupa. I’ve seen the Stupa first time without religious flags around it. Nice capture.. Was it any special event there…?
