Rajiv Manandhar’s US Visit

I was quite happy to have the opportunity to visit the US for the second time and meet everyone in our US office. Even though this was a very short trip of only 2 weeks, I got the most out of it. I reached Boston on May 19. Since it was spring, the weather was very pleasant during my stay. I got to enjoy a warm and sunny weather throughout my visit. I stayed in Ashay’s home. Ashay and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. During my stay, I traveled using Uber many times and I enjoyed talking to the Uber drivers and listening to their stories.

Weekdays
I was quite busy with official work and client visits. The client visited our Deerwalk office for a meeting in the first week. Thereafter, I visited the client multiple times in their office. This was very fruitful, as I got to meet their whole team and gained an in-depth perspective of their business model and requirements.

We even had a small poker party in office after working hours just before the long weekend. In our last day, Dave took us for a lunch in a nearby Nepali restaurant and at evening Ashaya took us to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.

Weekends
I was lucky to get a long weekend to celebrate Memorial Day. I visited the Public Garden, Harvard Square and ChinaTown. I was excited to see rich and unusual plants, lagoon, monuments and fountains, and the swan boats. I also had a taste of American style barbecue in my uncle’s home.
