31 July 2017, up in the cloud on my way to USA, the day has finally arrived. I was very excited for the journey to begin.

Sagar and Manish picked me up in Boston Airport and from there they drop me to hotel where I stay for couple of days before moving to Aashay’s place. Beside work I visited different places during my stay.

My favorite thing to do is to go where I’ve never been. So, the very first week I visited Boston Downtown, Harvard University and took a march of liberty along the Freedom Trail. This was a great experience for me to know the American way of lifestyle. Some of the places worth mentioning that I visited in Boston during my stay are MIT, Fenway Park, Park Street Garden and Prudential Tower.

I got a chance to visit Bar Harbor, “USA ko Pokhara” with Deerwalk family. We drove for around 7 hrs to reach Bar Harbor from Boston. This was also my first long drive. Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine, United States. There, I visited Thunder Hole, walk along Shore Path Trail and view sunrise from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Cadillac Mountain is the first place to view sunrise in the United States.

Next one on the list was Chicago. I went there for client visit. This visit was only for a week so I had to make most out of it. I visited lots of places in Chicago. Some of them are Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Navy Pier, 360 Chicago. I must thank Bill for a warm hospitality and allowing me to stay in his lovely home for a week.

In New York everything is large and glamorous like Brooklyn bridge, Time Square, World Trade Center. Trip to New York was one of the best I have had in my life.

Overall, I enjoyed a lot during my stay in USA. I would like to thank Rudra Pandey and Milan Lamichhane for providing me the opportunity. And, would like to thank Aashay, Sagar, Milan, Bipul, Saroj, Suresh, Krishna, Smriti, Mukta for the help you all gave me during my stay at US.
