Photo Description:

Durbar Square was filled with the local crowd and yes of course is was a treat for all the tourists to get the glimpse of this marvelous festival. The journey started off with “Pulu Kishi” who is popular for its “Drunken Dance” and “Lakhey” as we know is a “Demon” Character and is also known as a Savior of children.

This picture was taken on the Last day of Indra Jatra near Durbar Squar. As the journey started in front of “Kumari Chen”. Lakhey tries to get some air off the heavy mask as he knows that there is a long journey ahead and lot of people waiting to watch his popular dance and he didn’t disappoint the people and I certainly enjoyed following Lakhe and Pulu Kishi. I was dead tired at the end of the day but thoroughly enjoyed this day.
