We walked on the rainy day of MahaShivaratri to Pashupatinath and enjoyed capturing the moments of celebration, long lines, hassle, G and indeed serenity. It was an awesome experience to visit the shrine.
Here we share some of the “captures” from the day.
Some of my FAV
Tika
35 Pashupatinath
16 Sky shined as bright as it could
24 U can run, u can hide but u cant escape this place
Thank you for capturing the moments
🙁 missed to be part of team
Thanks for bringing the lively moments of ShivaRatri. Can’t make this time, I’ll surely join another ‘Photo Hunt’ series.
My personnel Favs are:
Pic no:10 , 31, 40 : Interesting shots.
Pic no:16 Nice Pic Ravi loved the sky
Pic no:18 remember a good photography tutorial looking after this pic http://kenrockwell.com/tech/basics.htm
Pic no:24 seems Very philosophical “SB copying your Desc” 😀
Pic no:27 agree with DreamSky absolutely dramatic. Looks like the set created for the Movie.
Pic no:28 Loved the Baba…Yes bit cropping would have made it more interesting.
Pic no:29 Humorous …Lord Shiva also prefer Mineral Water
Very lively series of photographs. Full of light, [sound] and actions. 27 seems to be a scene from some movie.
Bravo! Even such a cold rainy day failed to dampen your will to capture the essence of ‘Maha Shivharatri’ and bring back these nice pictures here in EU. My big Salute! I believe this is a part of ‘photo hunt’ series.
Well pictures are good, yet there are rooms for improvement. Much importantly in term of photo composition and the way how photographers should portray ‘subject’. If possible you guys should organize a photo slide-show: kind of photo talk program after each ‘photo hunt’ where people interested in photography can come and get into discussion. Doing so you get to know how viewers perceive your pictures and at the same time you get chance to select best photos to post here in EU. It would be a great help to enhance your photography skills.
Some comments I would like to make briefly:
Pic no: 10 is interesting to look at but it lacks ‘point of interest’ (‘clear subject’) to hold viewers attention for long.
Pic no: 13, 14 I see no point in posting similar shots for sake of different caption.
Pic no: 20, 34 interesting shots.
Pic no: 40 very philosophical.
