On the day of 15th May, hiking club had organized one day hike from LakuriBhanjyang to Godawari. We were all together twelve members, including two coordinators.

One day before the hike, I was very much excited as it was my first hike. I gave my name for hiking because I had never gone for hiking before and wanted to experience it.

One day before the hike, I was very much excited as it was my first hike. I gave my name for hiking because I had never gone for hiking before and wanted to experience it. On the day of hiking, I woke up at 6:30 A.M. It was slightly raining so I was in a dilemma whether to go or sleep again. As it was my first hike, I decided to go.

As informed by hiking club, I carried an umbrella, water-bottle for a hike. Each and every thing was arranged by hiking club and I am very thankful for that. I reached DWIT Complex at 6:47 A.M. and saw no one. I thought I was late by two minutes. But I wasn’t late instead I was first one to. After a while everyone showed up but still we had to wait for a driver. Around 8:00 A.M., we finished our breakfast and left the college for a hike. DWIT transportation, took us to Lakuri Bhanjyang, then we walked for straight three hours to reach the top of that Bhanjyang. I am not able to remember the exact timing as time flew away very fast with awesome members in the hike. We ate lots of kaphal which was on the way of our hike. When we reached at the top of Bhanjyang, we ate our lunch. After relaxing for an hour, we walked down to reach Godawari. On the way we had lots of fun. Van came to pick up and we went to the Thakhali hotel to eat our dinner.

Before the hike, I didn’t have any idea about why people hike and its benefits. After the hike, I got an answer. During a hike, a bond gets created which sticks in memory and makes us realize about friendship. Ups and downs in hike represent our life. We have troubles, difficulties, enjoyment, struggle but still we walk to reach our destination. I was so much tired that I slept for twelve hours. When I woke up the next day, I felt different. While walking I felt, I was stationary and the whole world was walking fast. I kind of enjoyed that feeling.

I found Prashant is very responsible coordinator as he managed each and everything for our hike. He did his job the best way as he could. I finally want to thank Hiking Club for organizing such a great hike.

The small magnitude earthquake in the morning made me wake up. It was raining outside. I was preparing for hiking with 2 liters of water, charged camera and all the necessary things. I left earlier from my home to college. After a while, we all the hikers gathered and we got some instructions from Surendra sir about route of hiking. We had breakfast in canteen then we moved to Lakuri bhanjyang. We were dropped at Lamatar and our hiking started from Lamatar. We followed the shortest route through hill.

The surrounding was cool which energized me to travel. There were hikers from different batch and it was fun to travel with them. By passing the hill, we reached to Lakuri bhanjyang and had some snacks. We took rest for half an hour then we moved toward our final destination, Godawari. In the way to Godawari , we stopped at one school which made me realize that the condition of education in our country is very poor. They even didn’t have a permanent class to study. On the day of 15th May, hiking club had organized one day hike from LakuriBhanjyang to Godawari. We were all together twelve members, including two coordinators.

The surrounding of school was beautiful and, I wished if my school there.

The surrounding of school was beautiful and, I wished if my school there. Now, our path was down slope and I felt hard to travel because there was no place to rest.

Finally, we reached to our final destination, Godawari. We moved from Godawari to Thakali Bhansa Ghar and had lunch. We finally, reached to college and went home with amazing hiking experience.
