My highlights: physical exercise, goat head butting, and some high Himalaya mountain viewing which I formerly experienced very often, and to which I was so happy to return; happiness which is surpassed only by a fine renewal of friendships, and the making of a few new friends.
We walked and talked: Surendra – real estate and building codes, Hitesh – politics and philosophy, Aseem – telemedicine and rare diseases, Charu – biology and books, Pramod – travel and leisure, Maya – fireflies and malaise (of US and Japan, not of Maya)! And of course, with my dear friend Rudra, we talked about everything else in our worlds, here and there.
And then some beer, and each made wish for bigger treks: Paris, London, Australia, Machu Pichu, Greece, St Petersburg, Mongolia, and somewhere else I cannot recall.
