D2 warmed up with the first match of the season against guys from Yomari. However, fearing waterlogged pitch due to incessant rain on Friday evening, most of the guys from Yomari failed to show up for the match and started with a patchy team. The lack of organization was evident as D2 trounced the team with hat-tricks from Ram and Richan.
D2 started the match pressing forward and it was not long before Ram got the first goal for D2. Shankar collected the pass from right wing and threaded it towards the unmarked Ram to finish coolly. Shankar then got the second for D2 what became the goal of the match. Another attack from the right wing Shankar Subedi found Shankar clear in the midfield. The Yomari defense backed off and paid the price as he beat the keeper with a strike from about 20 yards. Ram then scored two more, one from penalty to complete the hat-trick before halftime.
The opponent started the second half with more intent and managed to get back a goal early in the second half. But the opponent never managed to recover fully and at the end it was a convincing victory for D2.

“Pirates of the Silicon Valley” n that’s

anyone knows where to reserve football ground for matches?
what is interesting is an interesting question.. interesting would be players miserably failing to act like they are playing when infact they are not. here they all seem to be playing fair. 😆 😛
next match to be scheduled against the american embassy…. 😈 …. ahhh… or is this just a rumor? 🙄

D2 Guys,
thanks for the post. however it should not read as “D2 vs Yomari” as no any players from Yomari was present on that day due to weather conditions and unplanned match. only 1 or 2 players from Yomari was playing on that match.
However we will definately play a friendly match with D2 in coming month, may be in June 2008.
