A last minute header by Prashanta salvaged a 3-3 draw for D2 in another friendly match with Goethals Alumni in the Saturday morning game at Brihaspati school football ground. A clever goal early in the match from Roshan and two goals from set-pieces got D2 the hard-earned draw.
In the 8-a-side friendly match, Goethals controlled most of the possession and pegged D2 back most of the times as D2 was busy in blocking shots from all ranges. D2 looked a more complete side after introduction of Babins and he made it 3-2 with a header from D2 corner. Another lapse in defence from Goethals enabled D2 to make it 3-3 when Prashanta scored from another corner in the last action of the game.
