I still remember the day I received the email from Pramod Rai asking me if I was willing to visit the Deerwalk Headquarters in US. I hesitantly replied “Yes”, as I had to leave my two months old baby back here in Kathmandu. After making all the required arrangements for my family, I started working on my expired and non-machine readable passport.

After getting MRP and the visa to go to the US, I prepared myself for the month long trip.
My first impression on the international flight at Qatar was “Wow”, they have very good service and delicious food. Though I had to go through secondary inspection in entry point to USA in Philadelphia, which made me miss by flight to Boston; the airport authority was kind enough to make a new air ticket for me to my destination free of cost.

I was picked up in Logan Airport, Boston by Arjun Adhikari and Abanish Kayasth. When I got to the office, I was welcomed by all our office employees.

I am very thankful to “Mr. one solution for all problem”, Sanjeev Tuladhar, for his caring and welcoming attitude. It was great staying with him. I would also like to thank the overseas team for making my stay in USA so comfortable and memorable.

Ashay Thakur made some time and showed me around downtown Boston couple of times. I felt very lucky stepping on the grounds of the oldest university in the US, Harvard University.
