After five years, I was back to the land of dreams United States of America. After 11 hours plus transit and 24 hours of a long journey from Kathmandu to Honk-Kong, then Hong-Kong to New York, I finally landed in the historic city of Boston. From my last visit, I remember Boston being a warm city, but this time Spring was bitterly cold – much colder than I expected.
I was amused to see that despite the harsh weather Bostonians were enjoying the streets. I visited my beloved places in Boston: Harvard Square, Quincy Market, Boston Downtown and Park Street. One of my favorite experience was attending a game of Boston Celtics in TD Garden. The endless dinner parties with varieties of Nepali cuisines never let me feel homesick. Thank you Muna bhauju for awesome New Year party.
Apart from fun experiences, I got the opportunity to be part of US HIPAA Audit 2019 along with my fellow Deerwalk teammates Sudeep and Sushant. I also started the sprint process of Data Business Analyst Team along with Ashay and Sudeep.
I also got to visit the land of 10,000 lakes Minnesota. I met my little sister Ayushma after 5 years in Minneapolis. We went to the Mall of America, the biggest mall in the United States. I felt like a kid left inside a candy store. I got to experience my first Vintage American place. I was impressed by the ‘Minnesota Nice’ of people. I also got to visit the oldest mall of the United States, Southdale Center.
Thirty days in the United States passes in the blink of an eye. I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the staff members of Deerwalk- US. I really appreciate Sanjeev and Abanish for all the guidance and support. Deerwalk, thank you for helping me out in my endeavors and for giving me the opportunity to visit this country again. I am very much thankful to Rudra and Jeff for creating this platform for Deerwalkers where one can aim higher.
