Celebrations of the 169th World Photography Day on Tuesday the 19th of August 2008. Members of NFPJ are conducting a very short rally and starting from Shanti Batika, Ratna Park and through Bhadrakali, Shaid Gate, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Bir Hospital and to be concluded at Shanti Batika.
The mask that they were wearing looked like cameras with their faces taking the place of lenses which I must say was a noble idea. Everyone interested were welcome to participate on this wonderful day. This shot was taken while on the way to Office at Shanti Batika.

Journalistic instinct in Luna allowed her to react in time appropriately and how such a happening became highlighted. Otherwise such happenings would have slipped almost everyone but the most observant. I am pretty sure many EU viewers have no idea of World Photography Day which is being celebrated on 19 of August every year around the world. So my warm pat on her back for posting picture (despite its quality) to make viewers of EU aware of the event. It’s Citizen Journalism and we (photojournalist) call it, the right person at the right time.
Well now I am getting real suspicious, finally you guys going to know me by my real identity. Humm… sound interesting. And dear Luna I feel honored to have you tag me as a ‘Guru of photography’ but I am just a Shutterbug, photo commentator of EU. Thank you for this RESPECT. 🙂

This is an awesome coincidence… And I am pretty stunned by the thought….that I was unknowngly taking shots of Shutterbug…. the Guru of Photography…

Happy Photography Day to you too Shutterbug. Actually, I was so thrilled to see you guys with those interesting masks and wanted to click more of the pictures. Since, it was just a mobile camera, the picture quality ain’t that good. At that instant, it didn’t struck in my mind that you would be there. Otherwise, I would have taken more shots. 😉
